Why Us Essay Sample
Why Us Essay SampleThe essay sample that students will be looking at is actually from a lesson plan that takes a look at Why Us by Abraham Maslow. Students who take this course will learn about the various human needs. Many students want to know what goes into the Human Capital Plan and this is an answer to this question. The Human Capital Plan is organized by looking at the different aspects of the four major Human Needs. Students will also learn about people's potential for success. This plan will take a look at ways in which they can be nurtured and how they will turn out to be productive members of society. One of the main parts of this plan is finding out the source of one's personal motivation. Students are asked to list all the events that have motivated them throughout their lives. It is expected that they will not remember all of their successes but a significant number of them may have been the result of certain events. Some examples of these are winning a competition, being accepted for an invitation, or even being told by a friend that it was someone else's idea. After asking them to list all of the events that have helped them throughout their lives, they are then asked to rate each of these events and determine which one they really enjoyed. The student will then be given a rating based on how much it fits into the 'Why Us' curriculum. They will also be asked to identify the particular thing that prompted them to pick the first thing that came to mind. Students are not expected to remember all of the experiences they have had in their lives, but they will be able to give their reason for picking up on the first idea. When the students are done with this, they will then list all of the life experiences that have brought about the list of achievements. They will then be asked to list the main reasons that they are now happy. Most of the students will list very similar reasons but some of them may list a different reason every time they do this exercise. The next part of the experiment will see the students discuss what the life experiences that they have listed have taught them. Each student will then summarize a particular aspect of the life they have shared. After this, they will be given a list of questions that they will have to answer. The most common one will be to compare themselves to others who are included in the list. This question can be used as a way to determine whether or not they are exceptional or not. They will also be asked to list down how they think they are different from the other people included in the list. Finally, they will be asked to determine whether or not they think they have what it takes to qualify for the Why Us curriculum. They will be given a list of expectations for this year and they will be asked to figure out whether or not they are meeting them. Last but not least, students will be asked to fill out a high school student quiz and have their results validated.
